    This course qualifies for initial and renewal certification.

    You will be issued a course key code from keys@onlineaha.org that will enable you to access Heartsaver CPR AED Online on the AHA website.

    To receive an Heartsaver CPR AED course completion card using this program, students must complete three parts: 

    • Heartsaver CPR AED Online. Upon successful completion of the online portion, students receive certificate of completion, which must be presented for the hands-on practice and testing session.
    • Hands-on skills practice session with an AHA Heartsaver Instructor or using a voice-assisted manikin (VAM) system
    • Skills test with an AHA Heartsaver Instructor or using a VAM system

    The skills practice and testing session will be completed on your registered date and time at the Tidewater Center for Life Support.  The online portion must be completed prior to your registered date and time.

     

    The American Heart Association strongly promotes knowledge and proficiency in all AHA courses and has developed instructional materials for this purpose.
